Signage & Information Boards Design

Client: Tourist Board of Međimurje County

We designed the complete informational signage system for the network of pedestrian walking trails in Međimurje (available at medimurje-walk.com).

The project includes a series of information boards placed along the trails, providing visitors with clear orientation, route descriptions, points of interest, practical information, and interpretation of the local natural and cultural heritage. The trails range from longer routes such as the Međimurje Hiking Trail to shorter circular paths like the Štrigova Circular Trail and the Mura Trail.

Our design is clean, modern, and nature-friendly, using a consistent visual language that matches the overall “Green Heart of Croatia” branding of Međimurje. We paid special attention to readability in outdoor conditions, durability, hierarchical information design, and visual harmony with the surrounding landscape.

The signage system supports sustainable tourism by encouraging visitors to explore Međimurje on foot, discover hidden natural gems, picturesque villages, and connect with the local environment in a responsible way
