Centar Znanja Međimurske županije – Wayfinding System

We designed the complete wayfinding and orientation system for Centar Znanja Međimurske županije in Čakovec.

As a large modern hub for education, innovation, and lifelong learning, the Center required a clear, intuitive, and visually consistent signage system to help visitors, students, lecturers, and staff easily navigate the building and its different zones.

Our scope included:

• Overall wayfinding strategy and concept
• Pictogram set and symbol system
• Color coding and hierarchical information design
• Application guidelines for consistent implementation

The design is clean, modern, and user-friendly, using the established brand identity of Centar Znanja while ensuring excellent readability and functionality. Special attention was given to creating a calm yet dynamic visual environment that supports the Center’s mission of knowledge, innovation, and accessibility.

The new wayfinding system significantly improves the visitor and user experience within this important educational and innovation facility in Međimurje County.
