Mining Memorial Center Mursko Središće – Visual Identity

We created the complete visual identity for the CIMPER – Mining Memorial Center in Mursko Središće, a town with a proud mining history known as the “Grad rudara” (Miners’ Town).

The new visual identity honors the hard work and legacy of generations of coal and oil miners while presenting the memorial center as a modern, respectful, and emotionally powerful cultural institution. The design combines industrial strength with dignity and warmth, using a strong, minimalist approach and a carefully chosen color palette that reflects both the darkness of the mines and the light of human stories.

Our scope included logo design, typography, color system, graphic elements, and overall visual guidelines for the center. The identity is applied across signage, promotional materials, exhibition graphics, and digital communication.

This project is closely connected to our previous work in Mursko Središće, including the monograph Beli i črni rudari and the branding of Centar za kulturu „Rudar“, forming a consistent visual narrative that preserves and presents the mining heritage of the region.
